Nairobi Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi – Amboseli Park 40 Minute Flight

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

9:00 am – Your Africa Kenya Safaris driver will be by your hotel, residence, the international airport, or another place of your choosing to pick you up for the brief ride to nearby Wilson Airport.

It’s time to get this air safari started as you lift off and enjoy the morning light upon Kenya’s savannahs, homesteads, and forests. The flight is about 40 minutes and you’ll touch down at an airstrip near the park.

There, your Africa Kenya Safaris driver/guide will be ready with your own private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep. Hop in and we’ll be at the park in no time.

The game viewing has already started as we take you to your safari lodge or camp.

We’ll freshen up, enjoy lunch and head out on an afternoon game drive to explore the wonders of this compact but active park.

Get your camera ready, Amboseli provides unlimited opportunities for great safari photos.

Toward late afternoon, we’ll head back to your accommodation to relax, have dinner and dwell upon the day’s activities.

Day 2

Full-Day Amboseli Park

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

We’ll be up early for our full day of game drives. Let’s head out before breakfast as this is a wonderful time to see the park and its inhabitants coming into the new day. You may see elephant families trotting to their favorite watering holes.

Breakfast follows and then we’ll set out for more game viewing.

You set the pace. Enjoy as many game drives as you like… or, take time to relax at your lodge or tented camp. The choice is always yours.

We’ll have lunch and then talk about which parts of the park we’d like to visit. Observation Hill is a favorite spot. The hill’s summit provides excellent views of the park and the marshlands where birds and other wildlife gather. You can also leave your 4 x 4 and stretch your legs, exploring by foot.

Toward evening the characteristic clouds covering Kilimanjaro’s snow-covered peak may disperse giving you one of Africa’s most classic sights.

Now it’s time to head back to our Amboseli accommodation to enjoy our final safari evening.

Day 3

Amboseli Park – Nairobi 40 Minute Flight

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

By now, you’ve gotten to know the park and there might be some areas you’d like to revisit. Just tell your guide and you’re off to catch some more wildlife sightings.

We’ll settle back at our lodge or tented camp for a relaxing breakfast, the beautiful ambiance of Amboseli all about us.

Then, it’s time for a final game drive as we head back to the airstrip for our short flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi.

At the airport, a driver will be standing by, ready to bring you back to the location of your choosing.
