What’s Cool About Tsavo Parks
The noble horned rhino is an endangered species and isn’t found in many parks. At Tsavo West’s Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, you’ll be on the lookout for over 80 of these shy, but treasured creatures.
The Tsavo parks are nothing if not a study in contrasts – wild arid grassy plains fade into green hills, meeting the rich waters of the Mzima Springs oasis. Along its grassy and palm-laden shores, you’ll be spotting hippos and crocodiles.
The parks also offer surprising lookout points where you’ll take in great stretches of sprawling landscape and even the snow-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance.
The Extras
Depending on your choice of accommodation you can enjoy extra activities like campfire dinners, bush breakfasts, spa, views of the Galana river with its elephants, hippos, and crocodiles, waterhole views of wildlife, traditional dancers, interconnecting rooms and suites, kid clubs, and night game drives.
